My Family race at a city owned race track leased by a promoter, curious about the lease after years of unfair rulings and prize money I inquired about the lease from the Parks & Rec Dept, The head of the parks and rec. phoned the lease holder to let him know who called for the info, two days later we were approached by him with nothing but a verbal bashing
After receiving the lease there are things that are not being fallowed, All fees paid by the racers are to be given back to the racers as prize money in turn it is deducted from the profits earned and that determines the rent for that night. To my surprise he has told the city false payouts to the racers. His total pay outs last year $78000.00 when in reality it was about $30000.00 I have proof of this via news clippings, cashed chks car counts etc. After bring it up to the Parks & Rec. Dept. in a phone call asking for prior years earning statements for the race track, It seems my complaints are rejected, I do understand that they don't want to uncover issues that have been overlooked on their part. In the hopes that I will just go away. there are many other things that are not being fallowed also, too much to list.
Unfortunately my inquiries have made an impact on the treatment of mine and many other racers, The rules that are posted on his website are over looked by promoter in situations that don't include my son or others that have medaling parents. Rules are enforced to only the chosen few.
