Civil demand

I was caught stealing make up. The LP took me to the back room I gave him the make up back & he made me sign a paper saying that I'm not allowed at any "" & he told me that I will be receiving a letter in the mail 7-14 days. I finally received the letter asking for me to pay $250 if I don't they have the right to take me to court. The cops were never called! I just want to know if I do pay this will they leave me alone? Or will they try to take me to court even if I gave them back the stuff & I pay?

No one can say 100% however I would say there is a 99% chance they will no longer have a need to contact once you pay this long as you obey ban and do not reoffend

You most likely lucked out this time (they didn't call the police) & in that if you pay the civil demand & stay out of the store, you will not be taken to court.
