I have an 11 year old. her cell phone was stolen at school and used by an older boy to make illegal sexually harrasing phone calls. i notified the school of the incident by email. The fallowing day the principle took my daughter into the office 4 different time and questioend her about the incident. She told them the same story over and over and the principle told her she was lying. On the 4th visit to the office my daughter asked the principle why she was calling her a liar and why she believed the older boy who stole the phone and said he didnt. The principle said she found him to be honest in the past. My daughter said she was tired of being questioned and they didnt believe the truth so she said, " fine what ever the older boy said is true. The principle said i knew she was lying and put her on probabtion at school. My daughter feels violated. I know this is a little school thing in comparison to the police but does anyone know if they violated her civil rights and what the laws are that they violated. They never asked her to call her parent, they never called me and yet they interogated my 11 year old. Any info would appreciated.
