Claim uninsured driver to the Small Claims Court

My car was hit by another one in a parking lot of a residential area. I backed up and before I moved forward, I was hit to the left front (driver) side by another driver who was backing up and didn't see me. I requested her insurance and then it turned to be that the insurance was expired, but she said that she has new one, just can't find it. I confirmed it with her agent and said her that I'll call a police. I called the police, but the driver left. Police came and based on my explanations police officer reported it. I asked if another driver was guilty and the police office said that if it's how you described it, then yes. Now, since another driver wasn't covered during the accident, if I file small claim in the county's Small Claims Court, what are the odds of winning the case? Thanks.
