My jurisdiction is: Texas

I recently took a trip to a wall-to-wall-everything type store, and now have a Class B misdemeanor charge to deal with. I've never had any priors or anything. I'm 19 and I would like to know what I'm probably ganna get for this. Also I want to get it expunged. I reallyreallyreally don't want this one stupid mistake on my record for life. Is this going to be possible? What am I going to have to do? My court dates in another month, is there anything I should do between now and then to maybe appeases the judge? I'm, currently unemployed, live with my parents, and am not enrolled in college, will this effect the ruling? I'm (obviously) going to get a job as soon as I can, and looking for a beauty school to get enrolled in for next semester. Will getting a job and being enrolled in a tech school help make my sentence less?
Also (sorry) I'm listed as being 'uncooperative' because I didn't let the store people look in my bag, because I'd heard that if they didn't actually see you put something in your bag they can't do anything. I figured out right before the cops showed up that it didn't matter, so I emptied my bag for them like two or three minuets before the cop got there. And after that I was completely compliant with everything asked of me. (I was arrested once they rung everything up and it came out to $55 or something) Will being uncooperative with the store people effect anything?
