I was expecting a package, I was told by an officer that the pkg. wreek of weed; probable cause they opened the pkg.
It came from California, Return address (aka)
I was confronted by officer asking if this was my package and I said no. they search my home,and found controlled subs-poss 25 tablets. They arrested me arrested for the stuff in the pkg. and tablets, Let me remind you the pkg. was address to me; This happened at work where I had room and board plus job, security officer and a police officer were asking if I had known about this pkg.
Of course couldn't talk my way out of it. What are my options, should I ask my friend to say she is the one that sent me the pkg? Would that work? she said she would take the rap would that help?

How did police come to be in possession off the package? Were you ever in possession of it?
How did they search your home? Did you give permission? Did they have a warrant?

Security at previous employment called police, did not accept package, I did not open package, either security did or police, I refused the package.I did not give them permission to search my home, but where I did work at they searched my room ( company provides a place to stay) No warrant.
