A co worker has recorded me without my permission, she has let my boss know that she did and she does not care what the consequences are. This person is using this information to get me fired, what can I do? At this moment we both still have our job, but it seems that I am the only one who is a risk of losing my job. Please let me know what I can do now, because I don't want to lose my job.

In Louisiana it is legal for her to tape you without permission.

So, what did you say on this tape that you think is going to get you fired? It's really hard to advise you without any facts.

Nothing on the tape can get me fired, but it others circumstance that could get me fired not dealing with the tape. So she has been recording me to see if I would say something she can use against me

I thought in the state of Louisiana if the were two parties only both need to know that a recording is going on. And if there is three parties just as long as two knew it was fine

Then you were wrong. LA law only requires that one party to the conversation be aware of the recording.

Since you don't seem inclined to tell us what reason your employer would have to fire you, I guess you're just going to have to deal with the situation when it happens. You haven't given us anything that would allow us to offer any suggestions.
