Code compliance and civil law

I am wondering whether i can have i motion for the courts to allow me to possess an apartment until i can get code compliance to inspect the apartment that's infested with growing mold black and green. My intention is to get them shut down or at least have evidence that would support a civil claim aginsts them. If i move they will cover up this information. They said i have up til 10 business days to wait for an inspector. I haven't gotten a writ of possession so i'm still assuming i have some time. Also, would a mold do it yourself kit hold up in court as some sort of evidence?
