My son and his girlfriend recently parted ways after some disturbing things happened. We have since found out that she is in a lot of financial hot water. To make matters worse, she gave our phone number on a credit card application. She has now defaulted on the card and the collection agency continues to call our number and ask for her to settle up the debt. We are concerned this may not be the only time she has done this and who knows what else she may have linked us to. Is there anything we can do to make the calls stop and how do we deal with what she has done to us.
