I received a letter from a collection agency going after me for the remainder of my debt on a discover card. I am not able to pay the amount they want, but what I want to know is: Is it possible for them to take me to court or take my wages if I do nothing? Balance is a little over $7000

In order for someone to garnish your wages, they would first have to take you to court and receive a judgement to garnish your wages. I hope that everything works out.
