Back in September I ordered a product from a New York City, NY company online. They processed the order in October and sent it to me. I did not see the portion on their website that said you had 15 days to return the product. I had had surgery and was staying some place else. My neighbor got the product off my porch and held it for me. On October 28 I started making contact with the companies returns department. They told me of their rules afer ignoring me for a few weeks. Finally, a returns department member sent me the notification that they would take the product back but charge me a 15% restocking fee. Originally I agreed to this. The other stipulation was I had to send it overnight and it could only be returned if the product had never been opened. No problem. The original product cost me $418. It cost me $52 to overnight the product back Fedex. The company received it on November 12, 2008. Numerous attempts to contact them have gone unanswered. They just keep updating my low priority case with my comments. Today is March 5, 2009. I still have not heard from the company nor do I have my money back. What recourse do I have? I like in Kentucky so going to the company in New York City is not really feasible.
