Company care, leave on the street

The company I work for has been indicted by the FBI for healthcare fraud. It has been 2 weeks and I have not been paid and there has been no relay of information as to how to proceed. I have a company care and my expenses are normally covered (gas/monthly parking etc). My parking permit expires 10/31. Can I leave the vehicle on the street to be ticketed and towed as it is not in my name? Will I be liable? There is nothing in the language of my contract that states I am responsible for the costs in this such an event.

If I were you, I'd contact your company management and ask where you should park the truck and what to do with the keys and any other company equipment in your care.

You might also call the nearest FBI or US Attorney's office and ask the same question.

Generally, abandoning a company vehicle shouldn't cause you any problems with the governmental authorities, but in your particular situation, who knows???

Just noticed I didn't check my spelling....company car....not company care. Anyways, it looks like you got what I was asking.

Didn't even think of asking the local FBI branch here that question. Thank you. I am going to try that route first.

Oh and I assume the office has been "locked down" as there is no return of email or phone contacts. So I have tried that route but have gotten no where so we are all still in the dark as to what is happening.
