Can I be compensated after being found not guilty on domestic assault and false imprisonment. I would like to be compensated for bail, attorney fees, loss wages, travel expenses and mental anguish.
My cousin had two private warrants taken out on me on june 30, 2008 and I was proven not guilty on both counts, but I am out of a lot of money and she is still living life like nothing never took place. I am a nurse and these charges had jeopardize my license, employment, cost me new employment opportunity, put my living arrangements in jeopardy, and currently still doing so because the arrest is still on my record which all rsulted in mental anguish for myself being a single aprent already struggling to make ends meet.
Please help me, tell me my options to get my monterary loss back
