They are turning my apartment into a Condo and they have just served the 60 day notice. I have talked to the manager and she says the owners are planning on only compensating those tenants that were originally served notice of a possible move in Sept/03. I've been an occupant since Jun/04 and at that time they had not decided to sell. They gave notice of sell in July. Can they really force me out without any compensation just because I was not a tenant at the time of the original notice of intent to sale?

The answer is probably contained within your lease agreement. Note, if you were a month to month tenant you would have to move irrespective of the conversion.
