If i had sold a person a car of mine and they didnt hadnt paid the car yet and they had the car for over a week and i get a call, he tells me the car overheated and didnt want it anymore, so when i went to go try and pick it up, i get hit by the custums agents, and they take me into costudy. And now im facing charges for a car that the guy crossed at the boarder and with drugs and told the boarder patrol that it was mine cause the car was still umder my name. Now im facing ten to twenty years for something i had nothing to do with.

I'm sorry to hear about your case. Your defense is available to you - the car was sold. It was not in your possession. It was being operated by someone else. The prosecution needs to prove their case. If you have any emails or other documentation you should easily be in the clear. However... I see your problem. I'm guessing that you tried to pick up the car and move it only to discover there were drugs in the car. If you only arrived to pick up the car, you may have a reasonable explanation to a prosecutor. I highly advise that you say nothing and retain a criminal attorney. Even a public defender would be better than no attorney. I don't know what criminal statutes you are being charged with violating. Many of them require a knowledge standard which needs to be proven by the prosecution. A good attorney can seize upon that required element of a crime which needs to be proven in order for there to be a conviction. There are other aspects of your case which might indicate your innocence. Good luck.
