my car was repossessed by a lender and I was told it was sold at an auction but they will not provide me with a bill of sale to show it was sold at an auction. Am I entitled to see a copy of the bill of sale?

Have you requested to see an accounting of the sale?

You might want to request that form the lender, then start educating yourself about your problem.
