Hello, im from Missouri, recently I filed a motion to modify child support, I lost and the judge ordered me to pay more in child support, and also my ex-wifes attorney fees, and court costs which equals 2700 dollars. I have paid 2000 dollars of it, but im just absolutely strapped with cash right now. My question is if I dont pay it on time, can they hold me in contempt, and take me to jail. Im sure they are going to try and hold me in contemt of court, but I was wondering if I could actually go to jail, or what my options are. Thank you for taking time to read this..

Nobody can predict what a judge will do but I think you have figured out this judge is not on your side at all. Your past posts say that. Yes he can order jail time.
