I was recently fired from a job that provided me with a free place to live. After being fired they are saying I need to continue living there, but will have to pay and relocate to a different room. I am trying to find a way out of this. Can I get them for never giving me a copy of my job contract in a year and a half of working there? Also besides accepting the job I was forced to sign another contract that I only signed for the job, are they still able to hold me to that contract?

Why in the world would you have to live somewhere relative to your employment when you've been fired? Something isn't making any sense.

You didn't get a copy of the contract when you signed it? Have you asked for a copy now?

to many ifs and buts left out of this. Maybe you can explain a bit more detail. The "forced" signing wont hold as they will say you choose to sign.

It is like student housing for a college. So although I've been fired they still want me to pay for student housing. The other contract I signed was forced to sign was a housing contract saying I would live with them the entire year. I never thought of the fact that I never got a copy of the contract before.
