Contractor bankrupt owes me money

I received notice of objection to a claim I made in Jan. 2005, where the contractor I worked for owed me a final balance 0f under $5000.00. The notice said that I filed 3 days too late and not intitled to the money. The objection says that I have 20 days from receiving this to file a response. What is the procedure to filing a response, do I need to go to a court house or send a letter to their lawyer, I don't know? Thanks.

The letter more then likley was sent to you from the court house. You would want to send it back to the court house-- if at all possible I would hand deliver it to the court house and keep a stamped copy for yourself
