I received notice of objection to a claim I made in Jan. 2005, where the contractor I worked for owed me a final balance 0f under $5000.00. The notice said that I filed 3 days too late and not intitled to the money. The objection says that I have 20 days from receiving this to file a response. What is the procedure to filing a response, do I need to go to a court house or send a letter to their lawyer, I don't know? Thanks.

I have no idea what court and exactly what you have. Why not call the clerk and find out what the story is? What is 3 days too late mean - from what? You may as well file a response if you have one and it could be that the defendant is objecting and you need to response saying you didn't file too late. Ask the court clerk if you are doing this by yourself, pro se.
