I have to go to court for buying my son a of pack cigarettes hes the age 14....just wondering what type of sentencing or fines i may get....I have no criminal record not even speeding ticket......yea it was very much stupidity on my end...it was the first time and last time....
he was on the street smoking a cigarette and the police officer seen him smoking....the officer asked where he got cigarettes and my son told him that I purchase them for him.....he let my son go with a warning then issued me a court date.
when the officer lectured me....and did bring up that he could contact child protective services over this mater...but he didn't say anything else about that.
the good new is he stopped smoking
