My roommate left the house this evening to discover a cop parked half in our driveway, half on the street in such a manner that he had to drive through the grass to exit the driveway. I own the house - we do not rent. My roommate pulled out (after being forced to go through the yard to get out of the driveway) and the cop followed him for about a mile. The cop then pulled him over saying that he pulled him over for a seat belt violation. He let him go with a warning. However... I have not given cops permission to sit in front of my driveway or in it. I feel that the cop was not acting appropriately in this instance. Is there any way that a complaint from me would be valid?

Q: Is there any way that a complaint from me would be valid?

A: A complaint for what?

Yes there is a way but I don't see somthing like that happening a lot if it did then I would get the car number and call the poilce dept and let them know of the situation. I don't really see there being any reason to take up too much time trying to file a complaint.
