Got a traffic ticket for alledgedly speeding in CA and the officer wrote down the wrong driver's license (forgot one digit, mis-wrote another digit) on the traffic ticket. It's an infraction ticket.
I have an out of state license (WA state). Everything else accpears to
Question is: is this a fatal flaw? Will the county be able to process this or is the flaw so fatal (e.g. they can't find my record because they can't match it up to a WA state record)? Any thoughts on a strategy on whether to fight this ticket or just pay the fine (and take the hit)? (They require in-person traffic school which makes it difficult to attend).
Tried looking this up on Google and there wasn't anything terribly helpful. Any thoughts on this appreciated.
