Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft cops called my mom

ok so its been 2 months since i shoplifted and still got no court date. the cops called my mom today and asked my mom question about my dailty routine and what i do everyday. they said something will come in the mail and once that comes that i will ahve to go to our local police department and they will ask me questions about what i do everyday. what does this mean? and will i still have to go to court?

It sounds like they are getting ready to charge you. Your trip to Police station will likely be for booking. Now would be good time to start calling Lawyers

I really couldnt say but I suspect you will be getting anotice to appear in mail or request to surrender to Police station. Start calling Lawyers now! Then if and when letter comes your Lawyer can deal with it
