Hi,

I am a university student and during the holidays my university got subpoened by a recording industry to provide information for 35 IP Address for downloading or providing the methods to downloading music. I was one of the names associated with one of the IP Address. I wanted to know if it would be easier to settle with the recording company or go to court with them. And I was also wondering if I would need a lawyer.

They have big time law firms working for them.........if they try suing..........get a lawyer. Just don't talk to them and follow your lawyer's advice.
