Corporation taking an idea as their own

We have a provisional patent on a sports accessory product.
We want to present it to Nike and to Under Armor.
We received idea submission forms from both. These forms have a section stating they (or their affiliates, employees, etc) may already have a similar or identical idea and if so, we would not be paid compensation.

Both companies require we sign off on this in order they accept our idea submission.

We are concerned that they would take our idea and claim they already had it prior to us submitting ours.

Is there a way for us to submit our idea to them and protect our idea from them claiming they had the idea prior to our submission?

Thanks you, stjausin

This requires a specific review of the agreement by the attorney. The exact language is extremely important and a general description like what you mentioned isn't good enough to state exactly what it means legally and what repercussions could be. Any good IP attorney should be able to review and modify, if needed, so that you are protected.
