Could I be taken to court? Inappropriate pictures taken by me

I have taken pictures of customers and a coworker while at work (primarily on break) on my phone.
My supervisor had been notified and I may lose my job.
My primary worry is if it is possible that said coworker could take me to court. She is above 18, but the pictures that I took were taken without consent. Is there a law against this?
I do find her attractive but I would never do anything further with these photos.

It is unlikely that you could be taken to court because if the facts are as you have described, she has suffered no damages.

However, if you lose your job over this, your only recourse will be to file for unemployment and start looking for another job. Good luck with both. I will not lay odds on an easy success with either.

Lesson learned - do not take inappropriate pictures of your co-workers.

Describe what you mean by "inappropriate".

Is it simply because you took the photos and maybe should not have, or is there something specific about the photos that make them inappropriate?

Inappropriate? Maybe not. Creepy? Definitely. Requirement for termination? Certainly.
