My ex-husband recently died of a massive heart attack. We were both court ordered, in the parenting plan, to carry life insurance on ourselves to be left to our children.
Turns out he carried the life insurance, but left it to his sister. Since the day I found out about it, his family has not had one word to say to me.
Do I have legal grounds to go after the life insurance to take care of our 3 dependent minor children?

Stressed out!

Yes. The court will likely find a constructive trust in favor of the children but you will need to act fast. Contact an attorney immediately.
