CPS was called on my sons mother for no water on in the house so they went to his school an questioned him before going to his mothers house an talking to her or checking if water was on in home now here's the real kicker he doesn't live with his mom he lives with his father (me) an not the address the report.made to an after speaking to my sons mother an her refusing to allow them to enter.her home because he doesn't live with her an doesn't have custody so they contacted me an now want to come to house an want to see him an see where he sleeps an show proof.of custody do they have the right to do this

You can refuse any request from anyone.
What you can't do, without risk of a severe consequence, is defy a court order.
If they have no court order, you're not obligated to tell them anything, or show them anything.
Barring an actual court order, you don't need to even respond to them.
If you're EXTRA polite, you can simply say, "No. You can't visit my home."

Good luck....
