I have a credit card bill in the amount of $4500 for City bank which was not paid. I can dispute some of the charges, but I did not get to it. Due to a family crises, we had to move over sea and I lost my business (CA CORP.). I'm unemployed and the same with my wife. Most of the money we had went for taking care of our family health issue over sea. We are now working on getting our life back together. I have a house in CA which I'm now renting, and I will have to sell very soon. My mail was forwarded to a friend in CA, and we now received a letter from a collection agency about the above bill. We might get a couple more letters like that from other credit card companies in the next few months, as we are not able to pay. We are not planning or can afford to be back in CA in the next couple of years. I wanted to know if I ignore these letters will it hold me from selling my house or have a judgment against me that will hold me from entering the States in the future. Can I be arrested if there is a judgment against me when I entern the States? We are all (family + Kids) American citizens. What if we don't get back to the states for the next 4-5 years, will the limitation law protect?
