I received a summons in the mail the other day...I have prepared an answer but I don't know what to expect.
My answer simply says that I am on SSI with food stamps and that with the nature of my disability I don't see my situation changing in the future. I don't have anything of value. The credit card debt was amassed while helping a sick loved one. They helped make the monthly payments. My loved one died so much sooner than expected and died penniless there was no way for me to pay off the debt.
I have about three outstanding balances. This one is the one I owe the least on...just over two thousand dollars...what should I expect?
