I disputed a charge with my credit card for a service provided last year.
After long investigation the credit card agreed with me, and send the charges back to the provider and closed the dispute. I even filed a complaint with the better business bureau regarding the supplier.
Now a collection agency is trying to collect the charge that was disputed with the credit card. Shall I get the credit card involved again or what shaill I do ?

Two seperate matters

The credit card company may have agreed with you and refused payment but as I understand it, that has no legal effect. The provider of the service/items is still entitled to attempt to recover their money. They have done that by hiring a collection agency. There are several things you can do. First is to call the collection agency and tell them that you are disputing the charges. In most states that gives you legal protection, don't know how much. Then contact your credit agency (Equifax, Experian etc) and get a copy of your credit report. See if the charges have shown up on your credit report. If so have agency note that you are disputing the charge. That will protect your credit score while you sort this out. I think you'll also have to send a certfied letter to the provider of services that filed for collection and tell them you dispute the charges.

Couple more things

Contact the Better Business Bureau (probably the one where the service provider is located) and file a complaint.

Contact your state's attorney general's office.

I'd mention you were doing that in the letter of dispute as well.
