24 years ago I was convicted for theft, I went to court and was handed a community service order rather than a custodial sentence. I realise that in the UK my conviction will be considered spent and does not need to be declared. However, I would like to travel to the USA and notice that they consider all convictions, however long ago, still valid and I need to provide details of my court appearence to apply for a visa. The court I attended was Bow Street Magistrates, which has since closed down. Where can I go to get the required information to apply for a visa, and how long does each visa last?

This is not legal Advice.

Hey,

Firstly to find out how long the visa will last, you have to explaine what visa you are applying for??

The information you seek on Bow Street Court, Your local Police station will be able to help there. If you have not had an address change your details will be held there.

Good Luck.

Mark.
