I have a NY license and got pulled over doing 84 in a 65 in CT by state police - I was passing and maybe going 84 for 4 seconds. I am 31 and this is my first ticket ever. I was in my mom's car who is registered in MA. What can I do? Will this go on her insurance? I don't have auto insurance as I don't own my own car. Help!

Appear in court on the date and time indicated on your citation. Ask about the possibility of traffic school. Traffic school will keep this off your record and won't hurt insurance cost, but will cost a little more.
