I need advice, If my husband and I were to get a divorce, how would I keep a new girlfriend away from my child especially if I know she is unstable. I wouldnt want to keep my child from its father but I want to protect my child from any "crazies." My husband has 50/50 of his two children from his first marriage would this help his case?

If you have evidence that the new Gf may prove harmful to your child bring that to court. If Judge agrees he may order Dad to keep GF away. However if he marries this woman that wont apply any longer

Not true.

If she's a threat, she's a threat whether or not there's a wedding band and the court can absolutely order that even as Dad's wife she cannot be around the child (or alone with the child). Marriage changes nothing - it's whether or not there is actually a threat.
