Customer do not pay for remodeling

I need help. I am the owner of Corporation S and I was taking the remodeling jobs from the desiner. I was working for him for a long time and I did not write any aggrements with him. When I was done with a project I was sending him the invoice. Unfortunately he did not pay me for several projects. The last job I did for him was about a year ago. What should I do to collect my money. Thank you for help.

First, you should have started collecting money sooner than a year later. Secondly, don't ever do a job without a written contract. Third, your only option now is to sue him, or his company for your unpaid invoices. Is he a company or a sole proprietor?
