I live in CT. My daughter was in an accident 2 days ago in Virginia where she attends college. The owner of the car, my daughters girlfriend, was the passanger and had asked my daughter to drive due to her contacts bothering her. They were driving at night (approx 9pm), clear weather, approx. 40 degrees, when they were slightly lost and looked to check the onboard GPS. My daughter missed a stop sign and was broadsided by another vehicle. My daughter suffered knee and rib injuries and her girlfriend suffered a factured pelvis. Both were released from the hospital by 2:30am. The owner has insurance and so do I that covers our daughters, we don't have andy information about the other vehicle or it's occupants. The parents of her girlfriend flew down the day after the accident and took photos of the location and the car.
Questions-what can I expect next and what do I need to do other than getting accident and medical reports?

A: Contact your insurance carrier and tell your daughter to keep her mouth shut about the wreck.
