I live in a condominum. Approximately 34 of them have decks. The remaining have patios. The condominium map and the CC&Rs recorded with our county designate the decks as restricted common area and state that the homeowner is responsible for their maintenance. We have a homeowner whose deck is in need of repair. Under Califorina law, who is responsible for repairing the deck? Is it the homeowner or the association?
