My daycare has charged numerous undisclosed late pickup fees throughout the several years my children attended the center. The fees were not disclosed until we noticed our final bill being more than what it should have been. We asked for a detailed bill
and then uncovered these fees. I approached the Director and asked about their late pickup policy and noticed the clocks in her office and the one on her PC were about 10 minutes apart (both fast). That finding prompted me to ask about how they kept track of time and what time keeping source they used and did they have a time sync policy or a method of ensuring their clocks were accurate. I was told they did not have such
a policy. The late pickup fees amount to over $200 spread out over several years. To my knowledge we have not been late picking up our kids nor ever told that we were late or being accessed these fees. Do I have any recourse?
