My sister who now lives in Florida tricked me back a couple of months ago.
She got me to trust her and move all my belongings on her moving truck and told me she was doing it to help me out. I offered her money she said "NO I AM HELPING YOU OUT!" which she was by saving me money, "I thought."
Now 3 months later she still has all my items in a storage in Florida because she and her husband decided not to pay the moving truck which cost $16,00 and they want me to pay $8,000 which I do not have.
The storage company where he claims our things are will not give my any information, they have moved from where our things were suppose to be, and I have not had any contact with my sister or husband since over 1 month ago.
I have no idea where my things are and he has told the storage company that they are not to give out any information to the moving company for the truck they rented "at least that is what we are being told" and I want to know if I have any rights to get my things back.
About 1 month ago her husband lied to us and told us that we needed to come up with $4000 or our things would be auctioned off. We did some investigating and we found out that he was trying to get us to pay for his storage unit he has had for over 2 years as well as the one they are charging him for right now until he pays for the move.
Any hope for me, is it theft now since I have no idea where my things are.
