Dealership Forged Signature on Lease saying I am Guarantor

My company leased a vehicle. The lease was in the companys name and signed by me in capacity of director of company.

The company closed and the vehicle was re-possessed.

They sent a bill to me saying I co-leased /and guaranteed the lease.

I know I did not ( I have my original (yellow) copies which clearly shows blank spaces where one would have signed as personal guarantor &/or co-lessee.

So I asked them to fax me a copy - that's how I found out.

Question:

What recourse do I have ?

Don't pay.

If they ask you for payment, advise them that their copy of the lease is fraudulent, show them a copy of yours, and tell them that if they try to rely on their copy of the lease you will press criminal charges for fraud.

If they sue you for payment, press criminal charges for fraud.
