I recently had my entire engine replaced due to manufacture defect covered under warranty. I received my car today visually inspected what I could, then drove off. Drove around doing normal everything days, came home for a bit then approximately 12 hours after receiving my car I go to leave my house when my car began to shutter after about 30 feet down the road, soon the strong smell of gasoline fills the cab. I park it and look under my car where I see a now puddle of gasoline under my car, after further inspection I found that the rubber gasoline line was sitting on the exhaust header and had melted through.

Do I have any legal case I need to pursue?

Did you not take your car back to the dealer? I have to think they will fix it for you. If they refuse then you might have a case, if the gas line was their fault.

Legal case for what? Call them and have them fix it. This appears to be a return line. Fuel lines on new cars should be metal.

I don't see where you have a legal case to pursue as long as they fix the vehicle.
