my son passed away about one month ago. he had no property except a truck that was in his fathers name with him listed on it. he was negative .42 in his bank account. he had two outstanding bills from what i understand. they ask that i mail a copy of the death certificate in which i did. now they have filed paperwork against his estate. the only thing is has no estate. the only thing he might have is some income tax money due him. what does this mean and can they take the tax refund from his baby.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.
May God comfort you and your family as you grieve.
No, they can't take his tax return.
They'd have to first sue his estate.
Long before that could occur his tax return should arrive.

Just ignore those callous and greedy creeps.
Just so you know, and in all due respect, your son's death died the day he did.
You are under no legal obligation to repay them.
Tell those greedy debt scavengers to contact 1-800-HEAVEN and ask for St. Peter or God.
Your son is now resting in eternal peace with our Father, and His Son, Jesus!
