I was recently contacted at my place of employment by an individual that would only identify himself as Daniel and that he worked for Persolve LLC. and that they were a law firm about to pursue legal action against my debt that they had received. He would not send me any written notice to validate who he worked for or proof of the debt by email or fax or even by snailmail after I asked him repeatedly. He then proceeded to threaten that this was going to court and that he was going to garnish my wages unless at leat 50 to 75% was paid up front within a month.
I looked this company up and found that they aren't a law firm like he said they were and that other individuals have had problems with this company breaking the FDCA.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as I know that Persolve is
only a debt collector and not a law firm and that he has Violated the
FDCA. Immediate help would be appreciated. Thank you.
