I have a credit card that was charged off about 5 months ago. I received phone calls and letters from one collection agency and sent them a debt validation letter. They did not respond and a second Collection agency started sending me letters. I sent this collection agency a debt validation letter and they responded, but the only information they sent me was a form letter that stated the original creditor( no address), Balance, and the date the account was opened and the date it was singed off. To me this is not enough proof that they own the debt. What do I do from here? Do I send them another letter and what should it say? Thanks for the help.
