my father passed away two years ago, in his will he stated that everything he had was to be sold and divided between his four children. his daughter (who we are not even sure that she is his, she just popped up a few years before he passed away. he accepted it because her mother told him that she was his) i'm not particulary concerned about the issue of if she is or is not his daughter. im concerned because she was named executioner of his will (with me being second if she was deemed fit) and she has hired an attorney. If me or any of his other children call this attorney just asking about an update we are told to hire our own lawyer which none of us can afford. i'm confused if we are all In his will why cannot we just get an update. I do not personally know this person very well and only met her a couple of times. there has already been around 20000 collected from the sale of his property(his home has not been sold yet) and I have no idea what has been done or is being done. is there any form I could file with the court regarding this without having to hire a lawyer?

You don't file forms with the court, you make motions.

She isn't an "executioner", she's an "executor", or properly stated for females, an "executrix".

You desperately need a lawyer.

Why don't the three of you pool your resources and hire one?
