A fellow employee at my workplace has been making false statements about my work experience and my qualifications. This person has been commenting to fellow workers as well as the business owner. Myself and the general manager have told the person that thier comments are false(of which I have proof) and to stop making the comments, yet the person continues to make the comments. Has even gone as far as to comment this to a customer of our business. The business owner has not discussed this with the employee as far as I know and the business owner knows my qualifications.
Her comments are hurting my reputation and the comments are making my workplace stressful and a not happy place to be. Is there anything else I can do to stop this slander?

Yes, ignore him.

This is not a legal problem, it is psychology 101.

Stimulus > response.

You stop responding to the stimulus (the person's BIG mouth), the organism's behavior will be extinguished.

It'll take a little time, but its far more effective than any other option you have.

Ignore the little creep.

The next time he runs his piehole, smile and walk away!
