i sold a 1996 chevy tahoe for 3600.00 on june 12,2008. to be paid in payments, 1200.00 down and $300 to be mailed on june 16,2008 and the balance($2100) to be paid by july 15. as of today only recieved 1200.00 the down payment. been promised several times that money has been sent. stated in contract, that the tahoe must be returned in the same condition as recieved. recieved a phone call from the person's boyfriend that she took off with the tahoe and hasn't heard from her. what do i need to do, to either collect or get the tahoe back?can i repo the tahoe myself or do i need to go to court? what are my options?live in san bernardino county

Are you listed as lein holder on the tahoe? if so you need to hire a repo company and go get it back

no i'm not don't think she has changed the title to her name

You need to call the DMV and see if she did if she did not get a duplicate title and go repo the car if she did you are SOL
