Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Defense attorney

I have no idea how this system works so please help. i am now eighteen and living in ohio. I stole $148.00 worth from a store and was held by the stores secret shopper police. I was then taken by the police to the station and put into holding for several hours. My court date is for this friday and i would like to know how to get a public deffense attorney cause i cannot really afford my own. I have read the other posts so i have an idea for the punishments for this case but what do court fines look like in a general estimate. i have a civil fine to the company for $165.00 and will be paying that befor my court date so that i look better as well.

No it wont. It merely gives you a new court date and time to talk with a Lawyer
