im a cna at a nursing home an a resident said he misplaced his ring and i went in to check on him before i went outside so they accused me of stealing his ring.

Either way, you'll be better served to admit to nothing.

If you're smart, you won't give a statement.

You could lose your job over this, but not your freedom, if you keep your mouth closed.
